France made it two wins from two on their US tour with a commanding 3-1 victory over Colombia at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland. Désiré Doué stole the show with his first senior international goals, opening the scoring on 29 minutes when his low strike deflected off Daniel Muñoz and nestled into the bottom corner. Maghnes Akliouche delivered a pinpoint cross from the right before half-time and Marcus Thuram rose highest to power home a header in the 41st minute, giving Les Bleus a comfortable cushion at the break. Doué added his second on 56 minutes to put the result beyond doubt. Jaminton Campaz pulled one back for Colombia in the 77th minute, but it was nothing more than a consolation. For Didier Deschamps' side, fresh off beating Brazil in Boston earlier in the week, this was another impressive display of squad depth ahead of a home World Cup this summer.
