Austria vs Tunisia
Ernst Happel Stadion

Match Report
Austria claimed a resilient 1-0 friendly win over Tunisia at the Ernst Happel Stadion in Vienna, grinding out victory despite spending more than half the match with ten men.
The drama began early when Konrad Laimer was shown a red card in the 36th minute after VAR reviewed a handball offence, leaving the hosts a man short for the majority of the game. Tunisia couldn't capitalise on their numerical advantage, and Austria punished them — Marcel Sabitzer tucking home from the centre of the box in the 63rd minute, assisted by Stefan Posch. Both Sabitzer and Kevin Danso collected late yellow cards.
For Austria, the resilient win will boost confidence heading into the 2026 World Cup. Tunisia, meanwhile, will be frustrated at failing to convert their extra-man advantage into goals.
