Match Report
Huracán and Barracas Central played out a forgettable 0-0 draw at the Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó on matchday 12 of the Liga Profesional. Despite six minutes of added time, neither side could find a breakthrough in a tense but toothless Buenos Aires affair.
The first half was a scrappy contest peppered with fouls, as Lucas Blondel picked up an early booking in the 15th minute before Barracas Central's Rodrigo Insúa followed him into the referee's notebook just before the break. Huracán boss Diego Martínez turned to Oscar Cortés on the hour mark in place of Óscar Romero, but fresh legs couldn't unlock a stubborn visiting defence. Thaiel Peralta was also cautioned in the 61st minute as frustration grew.
The point does little for either side. Huracán remain stuck in mid-table around tenth in Group B, while Barracas Central sit seventh — both teams left wanting more as the Apertura campaign enters its business end.
