Rosario Central came from behind to beat Banfield 2-1 at the Gigante de Arroyito, with super sub Ángel Di María the architect of a stunning second-half turnaround in Matchday 11 of the Apertura. Mauro Méndez headed Banfield in front on 35 minutes and the visitors took that lead into the break. Everything changed when Di María entered the fray around the hour mark — his first dangerous cross was turned into his own net by Santiago López on 65 minutes, before Jaminton Campaz nodded home another Di María delivery in the 83rd to complete the comeback. It was a vintage cameo from the veteran, who had been doubtful all week with an adductor complaint. The win lifts Central to 18 points and the top of Zone B, at least temporarily, building on last week's derby triumph over Newell's. For Banfield, marooned in 11th on 10 points, the search for consistency goes on.
