Deportivo Riestra and Gimnasia Mendoza played out a forgettable 0-0 draw at the Estadio Guillermo Laza on matchday 10 of the Liga Profesional Apertura. Neither side could find the breakthrough in a scrappy affair littered with interruptions and half-chances. The best opportunity fell to Miño in the 31st minute, but his point-blank effort was heroically blocked by Paredes. Earlier, Obredor headed wide from a promising Ramírez cross, while Lencioni went close for the visitors with a curling effort that drifted just past the post. A nasty collision between defender Imanol González and goalkeeper Rigamonti on the half-hour forced Gimnasia into an early change, with Diego Mondino coming on. Rigamonti preserved his clean sheet with a superb stop to deny Herrera's cross-shot just before the break, but the second half offered little in the way of excitement. The point does little for either side. Riestra remain 14th and are still without a single win this season after 10 rounds, while Gimnasia Mendoza sit 12th after a third consecutive draw.
