D.C. United vs Dallas
Match Report
FC Dallas dismantled DC United 4-0 at Audi Field on Saturday night, delivering one of the most complete away performances of the young MLS season. Logan Farrington set the tone with a clinical left-footed finish in the 16th minute, his fourth goal of the campaign.
Patrickson Delgado doubled the lead with a stunning free kick just before half-time (45+1'), curling the ball over the wall and inside the post. Lucas Bartlett had already picked up a yellow card for the hosts moments earlier, capping a miserable opening 45 for DC.
There was no second-half reprieve. Osaze Urhoghide rose highest to head home a Joaquin Vallente cross in the 78th minute, before Petar Musa pounced on a rebound deep in stoppage time to bag his seventh of the season and complete the rout.
The emphatic win lifts FC Dallas to 11 points from six games, while DC United remain stuck on seven after a chastening night at home.
