Match Report

Los Angeles FC made it three wins from three to start the 2026 MLS season, grinding out a 1-0 victory over FC Dallas at BMO Stadium on Saturday night. It's the best start in the club's nine-year history, with a fifth straight win across all competitions. David Martinez broke the deadlock in the 55th minute, finishing off a slick move involving Stephen Eustáquio and Sergi Palencia. That was all LAFC needed as Hugo Lloris stood firm between the posts, making five saves to record his third consecutive clean sheet. FC Dallas goalkeeper Michael Collodi kept his side in the contest with five saves of his own, but Dallas couldn't find a breakthrough and slipped to 1-1-1 on the season. LAFC now sit on nine points with a remarkable 6-0 goal difference through three matches, climbing to fourth in the Western Conference. FC Dallas drop to ninth on four points and will look to regroup at home against San Diego FC next weekend.
