Match Report
Denmark swept aside North Macedonia 4-0 at Parken Stadium to storm into the World Cup playoff final. A goalless first half gave way to a devastating second-half display, with four unanswered goals sealing a commanding victory in Copenhagen.
Mikkel Damsgaard broke the deadlock in the 49th minute with a clinical left-footed finish, and from there the floodgates opened. Gustav Isaksen struck twice in quick succession on 58 and 59 minutes to put the tie beyond doubt, before Christian Eriksen added gloss to the scoreline with a fourth on 75 minutes.
North Macedonia rarely threatened and mustered little going forward as Denmark dominated possession throughout. The Danes now advance to the Path D final, where they will face the winner of Ireland vs Czechia on Tuesday with a World Cup place on the line.
