PSV vs PEC Zwolle
Match Report
PSV were utterly ruthless at the Philips Stadion, routing PEC Zwolle 6-1 in a commanding Eredivisie performance. Esmir Bajraktarevic was the standout, delivering a stunning second-half contribution of two goals and two assists.
Ricardo Pepi got the home side going in the 8th minute, and while Zico Buurmeester gave Zwolle brief hope with a 51st-minute equaliser, Pepi restored the lead on 57'. From there, the floodgates opened: a Simon Graves own goal (72') was immediately followed by Bajraktarevic's first of the night, Couhaib Driouech made it five on 79', and Bajraktarevic capped things off on 82'. Bookings for Anselmo Garcia MacNulty (41') and Ivan Perisic (89') were the only disciplinary notes.
The result keeps PSV firmly at the summit of the Eredivisie, while PEC Zwolle, sitting in 13th, will need to regroup quickly with the run-in looming.
