Match Report
Al Hazem sent the Roshn Saudi League's final round out with a bang, pulling off a 2–0 home win over Al Taawon at the Ar-Rass Stadium to end their season on a high. Despite being outpossessed for most of the game, the hosts were the sharper side when it counted — and the second half belonged entirely to them.
The opening goal had to wait until the 78th minute, when Aboubacar Bah struck after being set up by Abdulaziz Al-Dwehe. The Guinea international barely had time to celebrate before Youssouf Oumarou doubled the lead just three minutes later. Adding to Al Taawon's frustration, a goal by El Mahdioui had been ruled out by VAR in the 72nd minute — a decision that proved decisive.
For Al Taawon, the defeat was a bitter end to a campaign in which they had hoped to secure AFC Champions League Elite qualification. Al Hazem, meanwhile, wrapped up their season in style — finishing ninth but sending their supporters home happy with a dominant second-half display.
