Match Report
Al Qadsiah brushed aside Al Hazem 2-0 at Prince Mohammed Bin Fahd Stadium on Thursday, with Julián Quiñones once again proving to be the difference-maker in a commanding home performance.
Quiñones opened the scoring in the 14th minute, assisted by Musab Al-Juwayr, to put Al Qadsiah in control early. VAR added a moment of drama just before half-time when it disallowed what appeared to be a second Quiñones strike in the 41st minute. Al Hazem never threatened a route back into the game — the visitors managed just two shots all match as the hosts dominated with 63% possession. Substitute Ali Hazazi put any doubt to rest with a late clincher in the 86th minute.
The result keeps Al Qadsiah firmly in fourth place in the Saudi Pro League heading into the final stages of the season. Al Hazem, anchored in ninth, head home with nothing to show from a trip in which they barely laid a glove on their opponents.
