Al Ettifaq produced a dominant away display to dismantle Al Khaleej 5-0 in Round 32 of the Saudi Pro League, with Spanish midfielder Álvaro Medran orchestrating the rout with a superb hat-trick of assists. Khalid Al-Ghannam broke the deadlock on 24 minutes from Medran's first key ball, before Georginio Wijnaldum doubled the lead after the restart (52'). Moussa Dembélé took centre stage with a brace — a composed finish in the 69th minute and a clinical penalty six minutes later. Francisco Calvo completed the rout in the 81st, once again set up by Medran. Al Khaleej's evening darkened further when Ondrej Duda was dismissed with a second yellow card in the 76th minute.
