Al Riyadh produced a sensational second-half fightback to beat Al Ittihad 3-1 at Prince Turki bin Abdul Aziz Stadium, ending a miserable run of 10 consecutive defeats against the Jeddah giants. Youssef En-Nesyri had given the visitors an early lead in the 4th minute, but the hosts had other ideas. Leandro Antunes levelled things just three minutes into the second half before Toze fired Al Riyadh ahead on 80 minutes. With Al Ittihad throwing numbers forward in search of an equaliser, Mamadou Sylla broke clear in the 94th minute to seal a remarkable victory. The hosts managed just 30% possession but were ruthlessly clinical with their six shots on target. The win lifts Al Riyadh to 19 points in 16th place as they battle to beat the drop, while Al Ittihad remain sixth on 42 points with their continental ambitions taking another hit after back-to-back league defeats.
