Besiktas eased past Kasimpasa 2-1 at the Tupras Stadium, snapping a four-game winless run against their Istanbul neighbours. Oh Hyeon-gyu opened the scoring on 11 minutes, turning home a pinpoint Orkun Kokcu cross from close range.
Kokcu then doubled the lead just before half-time with a classy chip from an Amir Murillo delivery. The match turned feisty after the break, with both managers — Sergen Yalcin and Emre Belozoglu — picking up yellow cards amid a flurry of bookings.
Adrian Benedyczak gave Kasimpasa hope from the penalty spot on 57 minutes after Murillo brought down Kamil Ahmet in the box, but the visitors couldn't find a second.
