Mallorca delivered a huge blow to Real Madrid's title hopes with a dramatic 2-1 victory at Son Moix on Saturday. Vedat Muriqi's stoppage-time winner sent the home crowd into delirium and left the visitors reeling.
Manu Morlanes opened the scoring in the 41st minute, firing a low shot past Andriy Lunin after latching onto a cross from Pablo Maffeo. Real Madrid pushed hard for a response and thought they had rescued a point when Éder Militão powered in a header from a Trent Alexander-Arnold corner in the 88th minute.
