Atletico Madrid climbed into La Liga's top three with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Getafe at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano. Nahuel Molina settled the contest early, unleashing a thunderbolt from 25 yards into the top corner after just eight minutes. The second half turned ugly when an off-the-ball clash between Getafe's Abdel Abqar and Alexander Sorloth led to a VAR review. Abqar was shown a straight red card on 47 minutes, while Sorloth escaped with a yellow.
