Match Report
Strasbourg came away from Stade Francis-Le Blé with a vital 2-1 win over Brest, with all three goals arriving in a breathless opening 20 minutes.
Valentín Barco broke the deadlock in the 9th minute, assisted by Sebastian Nanasi. Brest hit back immediately through a Ludovic Ajorque header, set up by Kenny Lala in the 13th, but Nanasi — the game's standout performer — headed home from a Julio Enciso cross in the 20th to restore the visitors' lead for good.
Brest pushed hard for an equaliser and dominated on paper — 21 shots to 10 and an xG of 3.11 against 1.79 — but the goals never came. Diémé picked up a late yellow card as frustrations boiled over in the 85th minute.
The three points push Strasbourg to 8th in Ligue 1, while a frustrated Brest remain 12th and counting the cost of another home defeat.
