Match Report

Bayern Munich produced a jaw-dropping comeback, rallying from two goals down to beat Freiburg 3-2 thanks to a 99th-minute winner from teenager Lennart Karl. It was arguably the most dramatic result of the Bundesliga season so far. Missing injured striker Harry Kane, Bayern looked out of ideas as Johan Manzambi curled a brilliant effort into the far corner right after half-time (46') and Lucas Höler pounced from close range (71') after Neuer fumbled a corner. Tom Bischof changed everything. The Germany U21 captain smashed one in from distance (81'), then curled home an equaliser (90'+2) off a Michael Olise assist. Deep in stoppage time, Karl turned in Alphonso Davies' cross to complete the miracle. The win moves Bayern 12 points clear at the Bundesliga summit heading into Tuesday's Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid. For Freiburg, a cruel collapse to stomach.
