Match Report
Monaco stunned PSG 3-1 at the Parc des Princes on Friday, handing the league leaders their fourth Ligue 1 defeat of the season. Maghnes Akliouche pounced on 27 minutes after Warren Zaïre-Emery was caught dribbling in his own box — a gift the visitors gratefully accepted.
Substitute Aleksandr Golovin doubled the lead on 55 minutes with a clinical first-time finish. Bradley Barcola pulled one back on 71 minutes, but Folarin Balogun killed the comeback just two minutes later with a long-range strike that deflected off Nuno Mendes. Both Balogun and Akliouche marked their 100th Ligue 1 appearances with goals on a milestone night.
PSG stay top on 57 points, but Lens can close the gap to just one point with a win over Metz on Sunday. For Monaco, five wins from their last seven is a timely confidence boost heading into the final stretch.
