Match Report
Motherwell were left frustrated at Fir Park after VAR chalked off what they thought was the opener in a goalless draw with Hibernian. Elijah Just rolled the ball into the bottom corner after Oscar Priestman's blocked effort fell kindly, but a review ruled Priestman offside in the buildup.
The hosts kept pushing after the break. Stephen O'Donnell cut back for Tawanda Maswanhise, whose strike from 12 yards was well saved by Raphael Sallinger. At the other end, Martin Boyle marked his 400th career appearance with a volley that flew inches over the bar on 66 minutes. Hibernian's Jamie McGrath and Dan Barlaser were both booked in an increasingly scrappy second half.
The stalemate keeps Motherwell fourth on 54 points, six clear of Hibernian in fifth. Both sides will feel a point does little to help their ambitions as the season enters the home stretch.
