Celtic vs Motherwell
Match Report
Celtic brushed aside Motherwell 3-1 at Celtic Park, with Yang Hyun-Jun the star of the show thanks to a clinical brace. The hosts were behind early but responded emphatically to claim all three points in the Scottish Premiership.
Elijah Just gave the visitors a surprise lead on 32 minutes, but Yang Hyun-Jun needed just six minutes to level things up. The game swung decisively in the second half when Motherwell's Emmanuel Longelo was sent off for a foul in the box, and Tomas Cvancara buried the resulting penalty on 72 minutes to put Celtic ahead.
Yang then added his second in the 79th minute to put the result beyond doubt, rounding off a dominant display from the South Korean winger.
The victory keeps Celtic's title charge on track heading into the business end of the season, while Motherwell will feel hard done by after Longelo's dismissal turned the contest on its head.
