Liverpool vs Fulham
Match Report
Liverpool ended a three-match losing run with a 2-0 win over Fulham at Anfield, with 17-year-old Rio Ngumoha becoming the youngest player ever to net a Premier League goal at the ground.
The hosts struck twice in four first-half minutes. Ngumoha (36') curled a right-footed finish past the keeper after Florian Wirtz's driving run split the Fulham defence. Mohamed Salah (40') doubled the lead from a move involving Ngumoha and Cody Gakpo — his second Premier League goal since November. A Sasa Lukic effort was ruled out for offside after the break, but Fulham rarely threatened seriously.
The win eases pressure on manager Arne Slot, lifting Liverpool to fifth and extending their gap over Chelsea in the Champions League qualification race to four points with seven games left. Fulham remain three points off the European places, still in contention but unable to take anything on the road.
