Match Report
Liverpool's Champions League hopes took another blow as Richarlison struck in the 90th minute to earn Tottenham a dramatic 1-1 draw at Anfield. It was a gut-punch finish for the hosts, who had controlled proceedings for most of the afternoon.
Dominik Szoboszlai gave Liverpool the lead in the 18th minute with a brilliant 25-yard free-kick — his fourth direct set-piece goal of the Premier League campaign. Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was beaten down the middle and will face questions over his positioning.
Just when three points seemed secure, substitute Randal Kolo Muani held off Virgil van Dijk and squared for Richarlison to slot coolly past Alisson in the dying seconds.
The result leaves Liverpool stuck in fifth, two points off the top four, while Tottenham climb to 16th — just one point above the drop zone. For interim boss Igor Tudor, the point snaps a four-match losing streak, but Spurs remain deep in a relegation scrap.
