Match Report
Juventus pulled off a hard-earned away win at the Gewiss Stadium, ending Atalanta's stubborn resistance with a second-half sucker punch. The hosts dominated possession and even hit the post before the break, but couldn't find a way through a resolute Juventus defence.
Jérémie Boga broke the deadlock just two minutes after the restart, pouncing on a rebound inside the box to slot home (47'). Khephren Thuram had a chance to double the lead but fired wide from 12 yards (68'). The game grew feisty in the second half, with De Ketelaere, Thuram, Cambiaso, and Kostic all booked. Atalanta threw everything at it late on — Scamacca's 94th-minute header went agonizingly wide — but couldn't find the equalizer.
The win lifts Juventus to 60 points and fourth place, just three behind AC Milan, keeping their Champions League push very much alive. Atalanta slip to seventh on 53 points, now seven adrift of the top four.
