The Stade de la Meinau saw one of Ligue 1's great final-day stories as Strasbourg came from 4-1 down to beat Monaco 5-4 in a breathless nine-goal thriller. Martial Godo was the driving force, scoring twice and firing home the decisive winner in the 84th minute.
Monaco had dominated the opening 45 minutes. Lamine Camara struck twice (10', 42') and Ansu Fati lashed in a ferocious long-range drive in stoppage time to make it 3-1, with Godo pulling one back at 34'. Folarin Balogun extended the visitors' lead to 4-1 shortly after the restart, seemingly ending the contest. But Strasbourg refused to quit — Diego Moreira sparked the fightback, Sebastian Nanasi struck twice in quick succession to level at 4-4, and Godo sealed the comeback with six minutes to play.
Strasbourg end their campaign with a result that will live long in the memory, while Monaco must reflect on how they surrendered a three-goal lead on the final day of the season.
