KuPS vs Trabzonspor

KuPS open their first UEFA Conference League league-phase campaign by hosting Trabzonspor on 15 October, with the tie moved to Tammela Stadium in Tampere since Kuopio's own pitch fails UEFA standards. KuPS sit top of Finland's championship group, level with Inter. Trabzonspor dropped into this competition after losing their Europa League play-off to Ferencvaros, and sit 7th in the Super Lig. Finnish form has been choppy, a four-match winless run only recently ended with a 2-0 win at VPS. Trabzonspor look sharper, with three wins in their last five, though an away record of one draw and two defeats this season is a concern. Watch Paul Onuachu, Trabzonspor's in-form striker, who scored 22 league goals last season and trails only Harry Kane for goals in Europe's top leagues this calendar year. KuPS lean on top scorer Jaime Moreno and veteran playmaker Petteri Pennanen. The clubs have never met before. Our prediction: 1-2
