Kamaz suffered a gutting home defeat, letting a second-half lead slip as Sochi scored twice in the final quarter-hour to win 3-2. The result caps a stunning turnaround for the visitors in Round 8 of the First League.
Oleg Kozhemyakin fired Sochi ahead inside the opening five minutes, but Kamaz hit back through Vitali Semenov (23') and Roman Tkachuk (33') to lead 2-1 at the break. Sochi leveled through Mikhail Ignatov (78') before Zakhar Fedorov struck in stoppage time (90+1') to snatch the win. Yellow cards were shown to players on both sides as things got feisty late on, though no one saw red.
