Juárez vs Monterrey
Match Report
FC Juárez produced a remarkable second-half comeback to rescue a 2-2 draw against Monterrey in Matchday 11 of the Liga MX Clausura. Trailing by two at the break, Bravos roared back at the Estadio Olímpico Benito Juárez for a point that felt like a win.
Uros Djurdjevic gave Rayados the perfect start, striking inside two minutes. Jesús Corona then doubled the advantage deep into first-half stoppage time (45'+9'), and the visitors looked in complete control heading into the tunnel.
Jairo Torres ignited the comeback early in the second half (50'), heading home a cross from Puma Rodríguez. Monterrey's task got harder when Víctor Guzmán saw red for a second bookable offence (57'), and Óscar Estupiñán duly completed the turnaround from the penalty spot in the 90th minute.
The draw leaves Monterrey on 14 points and Juárez on 11, with both still in the hunt for a Liguilla place.
