Ipswich Town vs Fulham

Ipswich Town staged a stunning late turnaround to beat Fulham 2-1 at Portman Road, scoring twice in the final five minutes to snatch a result that had seemed out of reach for most of the afternoon. Ryan Sessegnon put Fulham ahead in the 55th minute, curling a left-footed strike into the net from outside the box. Ipswich looked beaten until Abdoul Ouattara equalized in the 88th minute, then captain Dara O'Shea headed home the winner in stoppage time from a Jack Clarke cross. No penalties or red cards were shown, though five players were booked. The win lifted Ipswich to ninth in the table, their third victory of the season and a timely boost after a tough start back in the top flight. For Fulham, it was a bitter blow, their winless run continuing despite controlling long stretches of the match.
