Hoffenheim were heading for a frustrating home defeat until substitute Grischa Prömel rose to nod home a dramatic 83rd-minute equaliser, salvaging a 1-1 draw against Wolfsburg in Saturday's Bundesliga clash at the PreZero Arena.
Wolfsburg had taken the lead against the run of play in the 65th minute when Konstantinos Koulierakis powered a header home from Christian Eriksen's corner. The visitors sat deep and looked set to grind out a precious three points in their battle against the drop.
But Toure's pinpoint cross from the left found Prömel, who guided his header beyond Kamil Grabara to level in the 83rd minute. Despite seven minutes of stoppage time, Hoffenheim couldn't find a winner.
The draw leaves Wolfsburg in the relegation zone, three points adrift of the playoff spot under returning manager Dieter Hecking. For Hoffenheim, the point delays their bid to equal a club-record 16 league wins in a single season.
