Fulham vs VfB Stuttgart

Fulham closed out their preseason with a tidy 1-0 win over Stuttgart at Craven Cottage, a result that will settle plenty of nerves after a bumpy few weeks of friendlies. For Fulham, it's a timely confidence boost heading into a daunting Premier League opener against Chelsea, having lost to Crystal Palace and drawn messily with Malaga in earlier warm-up games. For Stuttgart, who had scored 25 goals in their previous five friendlies including a 3-1 win over Everton, this was a rare blank and a reminder there's still work to do defensively before their Bundesliga campaign kicks off.
