Fulham vs AFC Bournemouth

Bournemouth claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win at Fulham's Craven Cottage on Matchday 36, with Rayan's second-half strike proving the difference in a match that descended into disciplinary chaos. The game turned on its head either side of half-time when Bournemouth's Ryan Christie was dismissed in the 41st minute for a dangerous tackle on Timothy Castagne, a yellow initially upgraded to red after a VAR review, only for Joachim Andersen to follow him down the tunnel moments later after his own VAR-reviewed red card. With both sides reduced to ten men, Rayan broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute, firing a powerful right-footed shot past Bernd Leno. Rodrigo Muniz had earlier spurned a clear header from six yards in the 30th minute. The result extended Bournemouth's unbeaten Premier League run to 16 games, keeping them firmly in the hunt for a Champions League spot with just two matches remaining. For Fulham, the defeat continued a patchy run of form, two wins, two losses and a draw in their last five, and all but ended any lingering European ambitions.
