After a tight first half that ended goalless, Flamengo shifted gears in the closing stages. Bruno Henrique opened the scoring in the 80th minute, then doubled his tally just four minutes later. Lucas Paquetá added a third from the penalty spot in the 91st minute to complete the rout.
The victory confirmed Flamengo as group winners, setting them up for a favorable knockout-stage draw. For Cusco, it was a tough end to a difficult campaign — the Peruvians finish bottom of Group A with little to show for their continental debut.
