FC Cincinnati vs Montréal
Match Report
FC Cincinnati pulled off a stunning comeback to beat CF Montréal 4-3 at TQL Stadium, with Kévin Denkey firing home the winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Down to ten men and trailing 3-2, Cincinnati refused to go quietly.
Wikelman Carmona gave the visitors an early lead (6'), but Ender Echenique equalized on 40 minutes. Prince Owusu struck twice for Montréal — before halftime (45') and from the penalty spot (64') — with Ayoub Jabbari (52') keeping Cincinnati in it between those goals. Miles Robinson's red card on 60 minutes had looked decisive.
Substitute Tom Barlow had other ideas, levelling at 3-3 in the 80th minute moments after coming on. Then Denkey struck deep into added time to send TQL Stadium into bedlam.
The victory moves Cincinnati to 2-3-0, while Montréal slip to 1-4-0 — a morale-crushing collapse after controlling much of the contest.
