Scotland U19 vs Czechia U19

Scotland U19 and Czech Republic U19 could not be separated at the Estadi Olímpic Camilo Cano, playing out a 0-0 draw in the second fixture of Scotland's training camp in Alicante. The standout moment was really the absence of one — both defences held firm throughout, denying either side a breakthrough in a tightly fought friendly. There were no goals, no cards, and no real drama to speak of, just a cagey, well-matched contest that never quite opened up. It marked the midpoint of a three-match Spanish tour for the Scots, sandwiched between outings against Finland and Ukraine. For Scotland U19, the clean sheet and composed performance offered an encouraging start to life under new head coach Tam Courts, whose first squad blends Scottish-based talent with English academy prospects like Fletcher Boyd and Jack McGrath ahead of qualifiers against Belgium, Kazakhstan and Kosovo. For Czech Republic U19, it was a solid test of their own defensive shape on the road.
