Sweden U19 vs Czechia U19

Sweden U19 closed out their training camp in Spain in style, beating Czech Republic U19 2-1 in a friendly at Albir Garden Resort to finish the week unbeaten. It was the third and final fixture of Sweden's stay in La Nucia, following a win over Ukraine and a draw with Finland earlier in the week. Czech Republic arrived off the back of a 5-0 thrashing of Scotland, but couldn't replicate that form against head coach Andreas Pettersson's side, with Germany still to come in their own camp schedule. The win gives Sweden real momentum heading into the second round of European Championship qualifying in Portugal this November, where they will face Germany, Lithuania and hosts Portugal. Czech Republic will regroup and look to finish their own preparations strongly ahead of their remaining fixtures.
