Netherlands U19 vs Belgium U19
Sportpark Parkzicht
2026
Match Report
Netherlands U19 and Belgium U19 shared the points in an entertaining friendly at Sportpark Parkzicht in Uden, with the Dutch side needing a spirited second-half turnaround after falling behind early to salvage a 1-1 draw.
Belgium struck first, going ahead in the 10th minute and holding that lead through the break. Coach Nicky Kuiper turned to his bench at halftime, introducing several fresh faces including Feyenoord's Dani Slory, and the changes worked: Pepijn Reulen leveled things up in the 64th minute. Neither side could find a winner after that, and the match finished level.
For Netherlands U19, it was a useful runout with five Feyenoord players involved, including goalkeeper Stenn de Mol and defenders Levi Haps, Arman Nahany and Sam Roovers, as Kuiper builds his squad ahead of a tournament in Portugal against Portugal, Austria and Denmark, with November's qualifiers on the horizon. Belgium U19 will take plenty of encouragement from their first-half display.
