Audax Italiano is one of Chile's historic football clubs, founded in 1910 in Santiago by Italian immigrants who gave the club its distinctive identity and name. Playing their home matches at the Estadio Bicentenario Municipal de La Florida, which holds approximately 12,000 spectators, the club competes in the Chilean Primera División and has participated in CONMEBOL continental competitions. Audax Italiano has won the Chilean championship on multiple occasions throughout the 20th century. The club is known for nurturing local talent and has a loyal supporter base in the southern suburbs of Santiago. While not among Chile's most decorated clubs in recent decades, Audax Italiano remains a respected institution in Chilean football, with a rich cultural heritage rooted in the Italian immigrant community that shaped the club's early years.
