The Tonga national football team represents the Pacific island kingdom and competes under the Tonga Football Association, affiliated with FIFA and the OFC (Oceania Football Confederation). Football is a growing sport in Tonga, where rugby union traditionally dominates. The team participates in OFC Nations Cup qualifying and FIFA World Cup qualifiers within the Oceanian region. Tonga has yet to qualify for either the FIFA World Cup or the OFC Nations Cup finals, but the federation is actively working to develop the sport at youth and senior levels. The team plays home matches at Teufaiva Stadium in Nuku'alofa. Despite limited professional infrastructure, Tonga continues to develop passionate footballing talent across its islands and broader diaspora communities.
