#6 CAF World Cup Qualifiers R0

Seychelles

The Seychelles national football team represents the archipelago nation in the Indian Ocean and competes under the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Governed by the Seychelles Football Federation, the team participates in AFCON qualifiers and FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Seychelles has a very small population base of around 100,000 people, which presents significant challenges for player development and squad depth. The team plays its home matches at the Stade Linité in Victoria, the world's smallest capital city. While Seychelles has rarely progressed deep in qualifying tournaments, the federation has worked to grow the game across the islands through youth development and coaching education. The national side wears blue, yellow, and red — mirroring the colourful stripes of the Seychellois national flag.
