Club Atletico San Lorenzo de Almagro was founded on 1 April 1908 in the Almagro neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. One of the five most popular football clubs in the country and a member of the prestigious 'Big Five', San Lorenzo is nicknamed 'El Ciclon' (The Cyclone) and 'El Cuervo'.
