Johor Darul Ta'zim
Johor Darul Ta'zim FC (JDT) is Malaysia's most successful modern football club, based in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, founded in its current form in 1972 and revitalized under royal patronage in 2013. JDT has dominated the Malaysia Super League, winning an unprecedented run of consecutive league titles from 2014 onwards, making them the country's most decorated contemporary club. The club plays home matches at Sultan Ibrahim Stadium (also known as Larkin Stadium), with a capacity of 40,000 spectators. JDT has represented Malaysia in AFC Champions League, reaching the knockout stages and competing against elite Asian clubs. The club has attracted notable foreign players and coaches while also developing Malaysian talent. Under Tunku Ismail, JDT's ambitious owner, the club has become a model for Malaysian football, investing heavily in facilities, youth academies, and player development.
