Everton
Everton Football Club, founded in 1878 as St Domingo's FC and one of the 12 founding members of the Football League in 1888, plays at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock on Liverpool's historic waterfront since the 2025-26 season, ending over 130 years at the legendary Goodison Park. The club has won nine Football League titles, five FA Cups, and the 1985 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup under Howard Kendall — one of the greatest managers in Everton's history — alongside the 1984-85 and 1986-87 league titles with a side featuring Neville Southall (record 751 appearances) and Peter Reid. Wayne Rooney emerged as a teenage prodigy from the Everton academy before departing for Manchester United in 2004. David Moyes returned as manager in January 2025 to lead the club into their new era at Bramley-Moore Dock, one of European football's most striking new venues.
