The Cambodia national football team, nicknamed the Angkor Warriors, is governed by the Football Federation of Cambodia, which is affiliated with FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation. Founded in 1933, the team competes in FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the ASEAN Football Federation Championship. Cambodia participates in the AFF Championship and has been developing its football infrastructure steadily in recent decades. The team plays home matches at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh, which has a capacity of around 50,000 spectators. While yet to qualify for a World Cup or continental final tournament, Cambodia has invested in youth development and is known for producing passionate, skilled players. The national side continues to grow in stature within Southeast Asian football competition.
