Sport Lisboa e Benfica, founded on 28 February 1904 in Lisbon and playing at the 65,000-capacity Estádio da Luz (Stadium of Light) since 2003, holds the Guinness World Record for the highest number of registered club members of any sports club on earth with over 290,000. The club has won 38 Primeira Liga titles — more than any other club in Portuguese football — and in the early 1960s under coach Béla Guttmann and inspired by the legendary Eusébio, won back-to-back European Cups in 1961 and 1962, famously ending Real Madrid's five-year run of dominance. Benfica are one of the 'Big Three' of Portuguese football alongside Porto and Sporting CP, and have never been relegated from the Primeira Liga in the club's entire history.
