The France national football team, known as Les Bleus, is one of the most successful and celebrated sides in world football. Founded in 1904 alongside FIFA itself, France has won the FIFA World Cup twice, in 1998 on home soil and again in 2018 in Russia, as well as claiming the UEFA European Championship in 1984 and 2000. The team plays its home matches at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, near Paris. France has produced some of the greatest players in the sport's history, including Michel Platini, Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, and Kylian Mbappé. Managed by Didier Deschamps, the current squad is considered among the world's elite and consistently challenges for major international honors.
