Preston North End
Preston North End Football Club was founded in 1880 in Preston, Lancashire, making them one of England's oldest professional clubs. Playing at Deepdale, the world's oldest continually used football ground, the club competes in the English Championship. Preston hold a special place in football history as one of the founding members of the Football League in 1888 and the first-ever League champions. Known as 'The Lilywhites', they won the Double in the very first season, going unbeaten throughout. While modern success has been elusive, Preston remain a proud institution committed to honest, hard-working football. Their rich heritage and historic stadium make them a unique and cherished part of the English game.
