Crystal Palace FC

Crystal Palace Football Club, formed on September 10, 1905, and playing at Selhurst Park in south London (capacity ~25,500) since 1924, spent most of their history as a second-tier fixture before establishing themselves in the Premier League from 2013 onwards following years of financial instability. The club came closest to glory in 1990 under Steve Coppell, reaching the FA Cup final and finishing third in the First Division the following season. Under Austrian coach Oliver Glasner, appointed in 2024, Palace delivered their greatest-ever achievement: winning the 2025 FA Cup — the club's first major trophy in their 120-year history — with Eberechi Eze scoring the only goal in the final. The trophy also earned Crystal Palace European football for the first time, marking a transformative era for a club known affectionately as the Eagles and drawing passionate support from south London.
