Burnley Football Club, founded on May 18, 1882, and one of the 12 founding members of the Football League in 1888, plays at Turf Moor in the proud Lancashire town — the second longest-serving football league ground in England with a capacity of 21,944. The club has won the English top-flight title twice (1920-21, 1959-60), the FA Cup in 1914, and are one of only five clubs to have won all four professional divisions.
