The Democratic Republic of Congo national football team, nicknamed the Leopards, is one of Africa's most storied sides. Congo DR won back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations titles in 1968 and 1974, becoming the first sub-Saharan nation to qualify for the FIFA World Cup (1974).
